Ambler Borough’s tax collector, elected by the citizens of Ambler, is responsible for billing and collecting the real estate taxes for the borough, the county, and the school district.
In person payment will be accepted at 262 N Spring Garden St on Tuesdays, from 9:30 AM-1:00 PM, or can be dropped off anytime in the lockbox located on the porch.

Property Tax payments will not be accepted by borough staff. Please call 215-367-5663 or email Jennifer at [email protected] to schedule an appointment if you are unable to pay your taxes in person at the above times or need special accommodations.

Please remember to write your parcel number on the check. If you mail your payment and want a receipt, please include the customer copy of the bill (the top half) and a self-addressed stamped envelope with your payment.
Online and credit card payments are now available. You can pay online, in person, or over the phone using a major credit card. There will be a 2.65% or $3.00 minimum fee for these payments. You can also pay online via an e-check for a flat $1.50 fee.
County/Borough Tax Bill:
2% Discount Period: March 1 – April 30
Face Period: May 1 – June 30
After June 30 there is a 10% penalty added
School District Tax Bill:
2% Discount Period: July 1 – August 31
Face Period: September 1 – October 31
After October 31 there is a 10% penalty added
Taxes not paid in full by December 31 will be delinquent. All amounts owed on January 1 will be turned over to the Montgomery County Tax Claim Bureau.
