The comprehensive plan community survey was first opened to the public in January of this year, and it remained open until May 3rd. Over this timeframe, a total of 512 responses were logged. The survey link was included on a postcard that was mailed to all homes and businesses in the borough to publicize the January open house. The borough also promoted the survey through social media, the borough website, and by deploying posters and lawn signs throughout the borough. Borough staff and elected officials promoted the survey extensively. The high volume of input will be integral to the process moving forward, as it will allow the Planning Commission to understand what a large subset of the population has in mind for the comprehensive plan as progress continues.
