The Borough Police would like to Remind parents and guardians that the Borough of Amber has a curfew ordinance that the Police Department enforces. A minor, who is a person under the age of eighteen, may not remain in a public place and or vehicle without being accompanied by a parent or guardian or a person having legal custody of that minor during certain evening and early morning hours. The restricted hours are Sunday through Thursday from 11p.m. until 5 a.m. the following day. On Friday night and Saturday night the curfew is 12 a.m. until 5 a.m. the following day. There are exceptions to the Curfew Ordinance for juveniles who are traveling to and from work during the restricted hours.
