DEP Service Line Inventory

Dear Water Customers,

The EPA published the Lead and Copper Rule Revisions (LCRR) in January 2021, which requires all community and nontransient noncommunity water systems to submit a service line inventory to the DEP by October 16, 2024.

To that end the Ambler Borough Water Department has been working diligently to catalogue all water services, on both the customer and Borough side of the service.

If the material of your water service is unknown, you will receive a letter from the Ambler Borough Water Department requesting you to make an appointment to determine your service line material.

If it is confirmed that your home has a galvanized or lead service line, you will be contacted by the Ambler Borough Water Department via letter.  This letter will outline the next steps or replacements.
