This highly specialized board includes an architect and an engineer. If someone is planning to build and disagrees with the Borough of Ambler’s engineer on an interpretation of a technical provision in one of the national building codes that the borough follows, the Code Appeals Board would rule on that interpretation. This board convenes rarely, on an as-needed basis.
