Ambler’s Environmental Advisory Council (EAC) would like Ambler Borough residents to know they are eligible to purchase a discounted tree or trees this fall that arrive already about 6-8 feet tall. The Ambler EAC offers free advice and volunteers to plant your tree. Members of Ambler Borough staff generously deliver the tree right to your home. Trees are more than decorative elements for neighborhoods. They provide shade, stormwater filtration, cleaner air and more pleasant environments. Planting a tree in your front yard increases your property value, lowers your utility costs, decreases lawn erosion and if planted in a front or side yard, close to the street, it can even provide shade for those passing by.
