Ambler Borough Water Department has issued a precautionary Boil Water Advisory on 11/19/2021 for specific areas in Upper Dublin Township due to a loss of system pressure caused by a water main break on Fort Washington Ave. near Loch Alsh Ave. DO NOT DRINK THE WATER WITHOUT BOILING IT FIRST FOR ONE MINUTE, and cool before using, or use bottled water. This advisory is for the following areas: Loch Alsh Ave. between Farm Lane & Ft. Washington Ave.; Ft. Washington Ave. between Loch Alsh & Susquehanna; Hawthorne; Hazelwood; Donna; Victor; Nash; Thomas; Kenyon; Wallace; Hadden; and Stevens. Once the repair is complete the water will be tested per DEP requirement. This will take about two days for lab results. Until the advisory is lifted, you should use boiled or bottled water for drinking, making ice, washing dishes, brushing teeth and food preparation until you are notified that the advisory has been lifted. Do not use the dishwasher because it does not reach the boiling point. You may shower or bathe, just be careful not to drink the water while you shower or bathe. This advisory is issued as a precaution until water samples are collected and analyzed to confirm that water quality has not been affected. Check back for updates posted on this website.
