Public Notice – Jack & Bore Under the SEPTA Train Tracks at Church & Main Streets

March 11, 2026 – Bucks County Water & Sewer Authority – Sanitary Sewer Force Main Project Jack & Bore Under the SEPTA Train Tracks at Church & Main Streets

Joao & Bradley Construction Company, Inc., the contractor for Bucks County Water & Sewer Authority (BCWSA), will be installing a sanitary sewer force main by jack and bore underneath the SEPTA train tracks toward the Ambler Borough Wastewater Treatment Plant.

This work is scheduled to begin on or about March 12, 2026. Church & Main Streets will remain open during the project but expect some delays due to the construction. Anticipated timeline for this project to its completion is approximately two weeks.

The process of placing this pipe underneath the tracks will be loud at times and you may experience vibrations from the construction as well.

Due to the nature of the work being performed, there is a window of time where once the jack and bore is underway, construction will continue for a period of 24 consecutive hours and cannot stop. The anticipated start date for this portion of the project is Saturday March 21, 2026, at 12:00 a.m. through Sunday, March 22, 2026, at 12:00 a.m. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may cause, and the Borough kindly asks for your patience during this portion of the construction process.
