Department of Environmental Protection Groundwater Regulations requires Immediate Public Notification and corrective action should routinely collected water samples test positive for bacterial E coli. “Boil water” alerts and other general measures usually broadcast over radio are no longer, in and of themselves, sufficient.
Ambler Borough Water has contracted with RaveAlert®, a secure computer phone-dial notification system which will provide hard line, cell phone and/or Email alerts of a water emergency situation to our customers. This system has the capacity to output 3,000 simultaneous calls per minute.
It is vital that you share with us the following identifying information which will be held in confidence. Please note your Primary Phone and Email, if provided, will be contacted unless otherwise indicated. Providing us with a Secondary Phone will help us in making a timely notifying. Calls initiated by the Borough will be identified as “Ambler Borough.” If you do not answer the call, the system will continue to recall.
