Below you will find Situational Awareness Notice for the Montgomery County Department of Public Safety. This report applies to the current winter storm event that will impact the area through Wednesday 3/21/18
Significant event details and developments:
- Snow, heavy at times, is expected this morning through late this afternoon. Most of the snow accumulation will occur at that time.
- Snowfall totals of 12-18″ are forecasted across Montgomery County. Snowfall rates of 2 to 3 inches per hour are still possible during the daytime hours on Wednesday.
- Strong winds and the heavy, wet snow are expected to lead to tree damage and power outages.
