Ambler Water Dept. will conduct routine system hydrant flushing Thursday December 4th, between 7:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. on streets Woodcock, Mill Spring and Sheaff Lane, in Whitemarsh Township. Check back often for current daily flushing schedule.
If you experience discolored water, DO NOT OPEN THE HOT WATER SIDE OF YOUR FAUCET as this will bring the discolored water into the hot water tank. RUN COLD WATER only from your faucet for several minutes. Continue repeating this process until the water runs clear. If you have a water softener, it is suggested you bypass the water softener until the situation is ‘clear.’ For further information contact the Water Department at 215-646-1000 ext. 110 or 111 between 8-4:00 p.m., M-F.
