Water Main Break – Knight Road

A Water Main Break has occurred on Knight Road between Francis and Mt. Pleasant Avenues in Lower Gwynedd Township.  The main has been shut down for repair.  A crew is on-site addressing the issue.  The water will be off during the repair process and will be restored late this afternoon. Once the repair has been made and water is restored, if you experience discolored water, do not open the hot water side of your faucet — this will bring the discolored water into the hot water tank.   Run cold water only from your faucet for several minutes.  Continue repeating the process until the water runs clear.  If you have a water softener, it is suggested you by-pass the softener until the situation is clear.  We apologize for the inconvenience.
