Water Main Repair – Detweiler Lane

The Ambler Borough Water Department is working on repairs to a water main on Detweiler Lane in Whitpain Township on Friday, October 4, 2024. Customers may be experiencing no water or low water pressure. Estimated time for repairs to be completed and water restored is mid- to late afternoon.  Once water is restored, please run the cold side of the water faucet to be sure the water runs clear, preferably at the lowest point in your home.  If the water is discolored continue to run the cold water until water runs, clear.  Once the water is clear you can resume using both cold and hot water.  If you have a water softener, it is suggested you bypass the softener until the repairs are made and water runs clear.  The Borough apologizes for the inconvenience.
